除了
除了 (chúle) means 'apart from...'
Example:
你们除了学习语言, 还学什么？
Nǐmen chúle xuéxi yǔyán, hái xué shénme?
Apart from languages, what else do you study?
Some times 除了 is followed by 以外 (yǐwài):
你们除了学习语言以外, 还学什么？
The meaning remains the same.The subsequent phrase usually contains the adverbs 还 or 也.
