Tactical Plan Framework.pdfParaphrased from Sal:
The attached document is found on what would be page 41 of the Strategic Plan. It ties together our planning efforts with the mission statement (Institutional Commitments), strategic outcomes, tactical plans, which include budget requests, performance measures, and strategies (i.e., Evaluation, Planning, and Improvement). It also addresses student learning outcomes (SLOs) and student persistence and success. All of the aforementioned processes are discussed (Dialogue) throughout the college in the Faculty Senate, PPAC, VCAC, CAAC, Administrative Staff Council, and Student Council (Organization) through a shared governance and participative process, and the results of this dialogue are communicated openly to our entire KCC community and the public when appropriate (Integrity). Consequently, the themes (items in parentheses above) that the ACCJC wants to see weaved throughout each Standard of the Self-Evaluation study are alive and well within this Tactical Planning Framework. This framework is an example of how one item, TACTICAL PLANNING, could/should show up in all Standards, e.g., can be used to answer questions in each of the Standards, and indicates how we should be looking for how other processes are integrated into all the Standards and how the desired institutional themes can be found within each of these processes.
