Primary, Secondary and Intermediate Colors

The primary colors are red, blue, and yellow.

The secondary colors are obtained by mixing the primary colors.

The secondary colors are orange, green, and purple.

Intermediate colors are obtained by mixing differing amounts of the secondary colors. For example, you may have a redish orange or a yellow-orange, or a yellow-green, etc.
