Vishnu on Shesha with Garuda, Brahma, Lakshmi and Narada

Lakshmi

Lakshmi is the consort of Vishnu and is the goddess of beauty, of good luck and wealth. She is generally depicted seated or standing on a lotus flower. According to myth, lakshmi sprang from the primeval ocean, like Aphrodite in Greek mythology. Lakshmi always accompanies Vishnu in his incarnations on earth. When incarnated as Rama, she stood by his side as Sita. She followed Krishna in the two phases of his life: in his youthful days she was his beloved Radha and later she was his wife Rukmini.
