What is a WebQuest?

A WebQuest is an inquiry oriented activity that makes use of the information provided on the internet. The students typically work in groups to solve a problem presented as the "task". The process and resources for completing the task are provided along with a rubric for assessment.

Creating a WebQuest

There are many web sites available where you can easily create a WebQuest. For simplicity's sake, we are going to use WebQuest.org this year. You may use another tool if you choose to do so but WebQuest.org will be the tool we use in the computer lab with the students to start off with.

Begin by taking a tour. Everything you need to know to create your WebQuest can be found on the WebQuest.org site.

You may choose to simply select a WebQuest that has already been created. There are many subjects and topics to choose from at WebQuest.org.
