AMI is owned and operated by Randy and Julie Shiroma. The founders of AMI are proud to bring you a wide range of innovative solutions to help market and brand your business as a household name within the community and global marketplace. Along with a dedicated team of professionals, partners, sponsors, and collaborative network, they humbly look forward to serving you. Our Journey - Since 1984
As a culmination of 25 years experience and service to clients around the world, Mr. Shiroma's professional career started in the mid-80's as a design and marketing student at the University of Hawai‘i, Manoa and a student help at Hawai'i Public Television and the John Burns School of Medicine. Upon graduation, he then started as a senior designer and was rapidly promoted to art director at Pay Fan & Associates.
Expanding his horizon, Mr. Shiroma was hired to join the Sheraton Hotels advertising team at the award winning Peck Sims Mueller Advertising Agency in Honolulu, Hawai'i.
In the 1990's the Shiroma's serviced clients in the enterainment industry promoting names like MC Hammer, New Kids on the Block, Marky Mark and the Funky Bunch, and local favorites BBC aka The New Generation (TNG), Leahi, Simplicity, Ho'aikane, and Kuuipo Kumukahi to name a few. They quickly moved on to pioneer the POG mania phenomenon which swept Hawai'i by storm! The couple continued to spread the wildfire around the globe, in partnership as Design Marketing International (DMI) and publishers of their international magazine, Collector Caps Price Guide (CCPG). CCPG opened 2-offices (Honolulu and Southern California) to serve clients and world name properties such as Disney, Knott's Berry Farm, Australia's Wonderland, Madonna, Power Rangers, Marvel Comics and the NFL. At the advent of the Internet, co-founded Internet Concept Solutions (ICS), or more popularly known for the website development of JobsHawaii.com.
By the new millenium brand name marketing and image designs for clients and employers such as; Hawai'i Republican Party, Kama'aina Kids, Meadow Gold Dairies, Hawaiian Community Assets, Aloha Slamo-Rama Milkcap Tournaments, Pacific Expos, and the West Hawai'i Health Center have emerged with the flavor, style, and message of Aloha!
