About The Instructor
I am originally from the island of Guam or Guahan and have lived in Hawai'i for over 20 years. I have enjoyed teaching since the 1980s, starting with high school computer science and now enjoying working with students at the college level. I have a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies), a Professional Diploma in Secondary Education, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Technology - all earned at the University of Hawai'i. I am a student in the College of Education's doctoral program in Professional Practice.
I currently serve Kapi'olani Community College as an Assistant Professor of Information Technolgy and Coordinator of the Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching and Technology (CELTT). In my role as Coordinator of CELTT, I manage the technology resources and infrastructure of Kapi'olani Community College.
I teach courses in Educational Technology for the University of Hawai'i College of Education and for Kapi'olani Community College.

- I am most responsive to email since I am online more than I am near my office phone, so please use private messages or email as the first means of contact.
- I take Sundays & holidays off for myself and family. Therefore, if you send me email or post questions on the discussion board on a Saturday night or on Sunday, I may not respond until Monday.
