Sparrow10

Goals of the Sparrow10 project are:

  1. take acceleration studies of a model rocket flight
  2. Test out the Basic Stamp 2pe controller
  3. Test out the MMA7455 accelerometer

Rev2 goals

  1. Rewire the following components
    1. SPI bus
    2. Main serial interface
    3. LED
  2. make the flying units lighter
    1. for Phase II units, use two 2032 batteries instead of a 9 volt battery
    2. Possibility exist for making Phase III units using pre-made circuit boards available from external link: Adafruit
  3. Using an one position DIP switch

Version 2 code goals

  1. use more EEPROM that is available to the Basic Stamp 2pe controller
  2. use the Rev 2 wiring
  3. report on the raw data detected
