Originally from the island of Guam or Guahan, I have lived in Hawai'i for over 20 years. I have enjoyed teaching since the 1980s at the secondary, college and university levels.
I earned a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education (Social Studies with a concentration in Pacific Islands History), a Professional Diploma in Secondary Education, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Technology. I am currently pursuing an EdD in the College of Education's doctoral program in Professional Practice.
I am an Associate Professor of Information Technology at Kapi'olani Community College and Coordinator of the Center for Excellence in Learning, Teaching, and Technology (CELTT). In my role as Coordinator of CELTT, I manage the technology resources and infrastructure of Kapi'olani Community College. I am also a lecturer for the Educational Technology Department at the University of Hawai'i at Mānoa.
