The Site Info tool provides information about the worksite that you are currently in. If you have a role that allows it, you can use this tool to make changes to information about the site, tools available in the site, and access to the site. You can also publish the site using the Site Info tool. If you have limited permissions, Site Info will show you only the information about the worksite published by the site owner. Site Info displays a participant list, so that you can edit access to your site. It also displays a list of tools available in the application, which you may add to or remove from your worksite. You can alter your site's appearance and description as well. The functions of the Site Info tool are also available through the Worksite Setup tool in My Workspace.

The Section Info tool provides a way for instructors to efficiently manage sections of a class. This tool allows you to create sections in a course site. Information you may add about a section includes days, time, assigned teaching assistant, room, current enrollment, available slots, maximum enrollment, and the section category. The tool is designed to help an instructor manage a course that may consist categories of lectures, labs, discussions, studio work, recitations, or any combination thereof. The Section Info tool is designed to work with other tools, such as Announcements, Gradebook, and Tests & Quizzes tools. Section membership can be managed either automatically or manually. Membership information can be based on official registration information, or you can discontinue section and memberships updates from the registration system and manually control everything. However, when you select manual mode and then return to automatic mode, you will lose all the changes you made while in manual mode. Any number of teaching assistants can be assigned to each section and a teaching assistant may only edit information for students in the section to which the assistant is assigned. You can allow students to either switch and/or sign up for sections but a participant may not be a member of more than one section in a given category. Groups function much like sections but do not have the associated metadata that a section may have and are never preloaded with official course data.

Site Stats is a tool that will allow you to view some activities within a course in Laulima. Viewing these activities can allow you to keep track of how often your students are logging in to the course and using the tools. The Site Stats tool does not keep track of activity until it has been added to the course. If you intend to use it for your semester course, you should add the tool before the course begins. The students do NOT see the Site Stats tool. This tool is only for instructor use.

The Email Archive tool can be used to view automatically generated email address from each site. All messages sent to your site's email address are stored in the Email Archive. Email you send to the site email address is copied to the email addresses of all site participants and owners. Each message sent to site participants will indicate if there is an attachment, and provide a link to get the attachment from the worksite itself. Site members can use Preferences in My Workspace to choose how often they want to receive email sent to the site's email address. Email Archive can be used to mail all site participants at once. You cannot use it to send mail to an individual or a group within the site. The Email Archive uses links to handle attachments. Instead of receiving an attachment directly in the body of an email message, you can click a link to view the attachment. This feature helps prevent you from going over quota. The Email Archive uses plain text to format messages, even if their original format was HTML or rich text. You can view a message in its original format by clicking the link provided in the Email Archive.
